Like many great relationships, our story started in a simple and unexpected way. We met while working at the same restaurant. One day after work, we sat around talking for hours. Even though we don't remember what we talked about, we remember exactly how we felt--comfortable, natural, and that this could be the start of something special. From then on, we kept finding reasons to spend time together. Between work and band practices, we filled our time with going to our favorite coffee shops and playing pool. Being around each other quickly became the best part of our days. During our first road trip we realized we were the happiest we'd been in a long time. Life felt lighter and we became each other's home. A lot has changed since those early days, but that feeling never has. Now, we’ve built a life that we truly love. We both care deeply about our work with children and being part of our community. At home, our cat Simon keeps things interesting, he’s very much our baby. Most of our favorite moments are the simple ones: going to our favorite bookstore, visiting coffee shops, or spending time with family. We’re best friends and really enjoy every day together--laughing, joking, and learning how to make even the ordinary moments more fun. Our wedding day also happens to be our eighth anniversary. So, when we say, “I do,” we won’t just be starting a marriage--we’ll be celebrating eight years of friendship, love, and all the little moments that got us there. We can't wait to celebrate with you.
