We’re finally getting married!

Our story is a tale of a friendship that grew into love. Rob and I worked together and through time developed a friendship. We were friends for almost two years and slowly I started to realize what an amazing person he was, from his witty sense of humor to his charm to his willingness to help anyone without any hesitation. I knew I wanted to tell him that I liked him but because we were at work I didn't want to cross any boundaries, so I did the next best thing, I told Dom and Paola. They subtly tried to set us up and drop hints but of course Rob was oblivious until one day I decided to just flat out tell him. Rob had a lot going on in his personal life and let me know that although he was flattered he wasn't in the right frame of mind to date and that he didn't feel comfortable dating a coworker. Having come out of a long term relationship the year before myself I wasn't in the market of wasting time so I decided to pray about it. I remember telling God that although I really liked him I was going to leave it up to Him and if it was His plan for us to end up together then it would happen. A few weeks later Rob lost his job and we began dating; Now we're about to be six years in and about to tie the knot, it's funny how God works sometimes.
