River North Art District
The River North (aka RiNo) Arts District, where both the Catbird and Number 38 are located, has a ton of breweries (check out Michael's DIY Brewery Tour for more) and restaurants we love and is a great neighborhood to explore throughout the weekend! Some of our favorites restaurants include Himchuli, Mister Oso, Barcelona Wine Bar, Cart Driver, and SuperMegaBien!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Legendary music venue just outside Denver! If you haven't been before, Red Rocks is definitely work a visit (even if you don't have time to see a show)! Concert and events schedules will be released in early 2025, so keep checking back to see if anything exciting is happening while you're in town!
Coors Brewery Tour
The Coors Brewery Tour showcases the largest single-site brewery in the world! Learn about the history of Coors and their passion for brewing in a 60-minute tour. Visitors who are 21 years and older, with a valid government issued ID will be able to receive 3 beer samples of their choice. Non-alcoholic beverages also are available. PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to tour the Coors factory in Golden, tickets go on sale 25 days prior to your tour date at midnight (MT) and WILL sell out, so plan ahead! After the tour, go check out the Eddy Taproom and Hotel for a quick drink and bite to eat! This was one of the first buildings Michael designed after moving to Denver.
DIY Brewery Tour
Starting at the Catbird Hotel, take a quick walk across the street to Black Shirt Brewing Co. to get things started! Next, walk 10 minutes south, to River North Brewery, followed by Stem Ciders (try the Chili Guava Cider!). If you're feeling ambitious, continue down the street for a trio of iconic Denver breweries: Odell, Ratio Beerworks, and Our Mutual Friend. If for some reason, you didn't find what you were looking for, end the tour at First Draft Taproom where you have a choice of 30+ beers and can pour your own pints!
Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena
If you're coming into town early, grab some tickets to go see the Colorado Avalanche take on the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday, April 10th at 7:00 pm at Ball Arena!
