The Iconic Beale street!! Can’t have the ultimate Memphis experience without going to Beale Street! You’ll find some of the best entertainment on this street, like the local Blues artist performing every night, the famous Beale Street Flippers, and Memphis’s own Grizzlies! (The House Band at Alfred’s is the best to be honest..) Beale Street is legendary. Don’t miss out.
Some of the best Cajun food in the city. From po boys to gator nachos. Make sure you try the Zydeco wings too! This is located in Overton Square, where you can have a nice chill time and enjoy a cool Memphis night for some good eats and positive vibes.
East Memphis is a gem of the city. Personally, it’s our favorite area. You can do just about anything you desire in East Memphis. It’s a great area where you can catch a movie at the Malco Paradiso Cinema, go get some World Famous Gus’s Chicken, and get some Gibson’s Donuts. Sounds like a great night right?! Also, there are the Memphis Botanic Gardens, beautiful University of Memphis Campus, and tons of shopping options, from Target to Nordstrom Rack and everything between! You’ll love this area for a nice time in the city. (Pictured is the Clark Tower in East Memphis. The view from the 33rd floor is amazing!)
Huey’s is where it’s at!!! Live Music on Sunday nights, The Bluff City Burger, and their famous Cheese Fries. There are locations in every area in Memphis, so whether you are in Downtown Memphis, or in Collierville, there’s a Huey’s for you. You won’t regret it.
This isn’t your uncles favorite liquor store...but it is one of the best brunch spots in the city! They serve brunch ALL DAY! We recommend our favorite, The Cuban sandwich served with fresh Plantain Chips! Located on Broad Ave, in same area as the Wiseacre Brewery, Civil Axe Throwing and the Rec Room if you are looking to have some nice fun after your delicious brunch.
This is an area that has so much rich history, and is still bringing the culture of Memphis to life even more! You can enjoy what used to be one of Elvis’s favorites and Memphis oldest cafe, the Arcade Restaurant. Afterwards, hop on the trolley and ride down to the National Civil Rights Museum for a life changing experience. The murals in South Main are simply beautiful. It’s so much fun walking down the sidewalk and finding another beautiful mural for a photo op. This area is rich. You’ll feel the spirit of Memphis here.
