The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Please be there by 5:00pm to ensure we start on time!
You can use the RSVP section on our website to search you or your family's name to RSVP for those invited. If you have a plus one, they will be listed with your name! Please RSVP as soon as possible and look into booking accommodations located on our travel page.
We will miss you greatly if you cannot attend! If you know you will be unable to attend prior to receiving your invitation, please let Emily or Adam know as soon as possible. If you know once receiving your invitation, please RSVP "No" in the dedicated RSVP section on the website.
While we do love your little ones, we are making this an adults-only event. Use this as a date night or weekend getaway and come celebrate with us!
Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your invitation. If you are given a plus one, they will show up under your name when you go to RSVP! We are really looking forward to an intimate celebration with close family and friends!
Yes! The wedding ceremony will take place on the Separk Mansion lawn. There will be a few stone steps and a pathway of pavers to walk on. Following the ceremony, the guests will move to the outside Rose Garden for cocktail hour. Finally, we will all move inside the Separk Mansion for the reception. The typical temperature for the start of September in Gastonia is between 70-80 degrees with the heat cooling off as the sun goes down.
We would love for you to be fully present during the ceremony with us so we are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask for you to keep your phones away and on silent during the ceremony so we can ensure our photographer captures all of our special moments. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!
There is a large parking lot behind the Separk Mansion, please plan ahead to make sure you have a designated driver. If you don't wish to park at the venue, be sure to schedule an Uber or plan to carpool with another guest. If you are booking a room at The Esquire Hotel, listed on our travel page, you can walk (0.3 miles/2 blocks) or Uber to the venue.
We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up with us! The dress code is Autumn Formal (Black Tie Optional). Groom & groomsmen will be in classic black tuxedos. For everyone else, suits or tuxedos for the guys, and long (or ankle-length) gowns for the ladies look especially beautiful. We’d love rich jewel tones, deep neutrals, metallics, pastel shades, and subtle textures. Think emerald, teal, navy, plum, pink, or sage. Please just kindly skip white, ivory, cream, or anything too light so our bride shines brightest! Whatever makes you feel amazing and celebratory works perfectly. Can’t wait to toast with you! 🥂
