Matron of Honor
What a best friend she is! Sarah & I spent time together with mutual first cousins (also bridesmaids) back in the day and became closer to each other when our high schools joined track teams. Since then, we've had many memorable times visiting each other's colleges and at girl-time catch ups. We especially enjoy eating Mexican food together!
Maid of Honor
Kaley and I can't be in the same room together... without getting the party started! Kaley and I met in high school when our high schools joined track teams. We became best friends immediately, knowing our humor and spunk for life was the same. We now live in the same great city -- Des Moines!
Bridesmaid
Michaela and I are first cousins and you can tell! We think the same things are funny and enjoy eating loads of good food! Michaela has always been there for me and can make me smile, no matter what! We always are chatting it up at family functions and love having the occasional meet up. Her kids are also ADORABLE.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and I are first cousins! We go way back! I used to get excited all year around to get to see Kelsey and ride ATV's at our family retreat for a full weekend in the summer. As adults, we've enjoyed meeting up at ISU tailgates and hanging out in their amazing backyard. Her son, Wade, is also SUPER CUTE.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I met sophomore year of college, as she lived right across the hall from me, and things have never been the same since! Rachel and I have ran a half marathon together, been roommates, sang many karaoke songs together, and have continued to come up with new ways to enjoy life.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and I met when we were young and dumb during freshman year of college and somehow we are still going strong! Kelsey and I lived together in a tiny dorm room sophomore year of college and became housemates junior and senior year. Kelsey IS the spunk and sass that I need in my life.
Bridesmaid
Hanna and I met sophomore year of college and were housemates junior and senior year of college! Hanna always keeps me on my toes and makes sure that I get a good laugh in every time I see her. Although Hanna has been known to dip out before bar close, she still manages to be present for all the memorable bar moments! After all, nothing good happens after midnight, right?
Bridesmaid
Kenzie and I are first cousins! We played sports together when we were in high school and have continued to enjoy each other's company throughout our college and post-college years. Whenever I make a trip to Iowa City area, I usually meet up with Kenzie for drinks or a meal so that we can catch up! There are many benefits to being Kenzie's cousin/friend, she can be my therapist or my party girl!
Honor Attendant
Connor and I met in college and have stayed close after a college spring break trip. Connor is always up for a good time or for trying something new. My favorite memory of Connor is when she jumped off of a 60 foot cliff in Arizona, with zero hesitation.
Honor Attendant
Jayme and I met during college and became closer after a spring break trip together. Jayme is always the optimist and can see the good in anyone or anything. She always comes up with fun and unique plans that we can enjoy together.
Honor Attendant
Sarah and I met in college, where we enjoyed drinking cocktails together and playing sand volleyball! We now enjoy attending concerts together and chatting at friend get-togethers! Sarah and I always take up where we left off.
Best Man
Jace & I met in high school, when he decided to join a losing football program. We became good friends towards the end of high school and even more so after graduation. We constantly bicker about the Cyclones and the Hawkeyes. Thank God we both love Green Bay! Go Pack go!
Best Man
The first time I met Danny he was running for his life from his older cousins at the Erpelding farm. We have since went to the same middle school, high school, college, and apartment for 2 years. Whenever Danny and I get together, we always end up laughing at things that would make the average person lose IQ points.
Groomsman
Derek and I went to school together in Algona. In high school, Derek was the starting quarterback and I was his center, which of course means by law, he must be in my wedding. We re-connected after college when he moved to the Des Moines area and have been spending money at bars ever since.
Groomsman
Christian is an old soul whom I've been friends with as long as I can remember. Although geographically we haven't been close in some time, it hasn't been hard to keep in touch with him, because we can always pick up where we left off. Christian uplifts those around him and it is a pleasure to be his friend.
Groomsman
Gavin is one of my good (and best looking) friends. He and I kept in touch throughout college and I was honored to be a groomsmen in his wedding. His two bachelor parties were some of the best times I've ever had and I'm happy that he is a part of my life.
Groomsman
I met Putz my freshman year of college in the dorms. We shared several classes at ISU, since we both graduated with degrees related to agriculture. Logan has put up with my antics for several years and has helped me professionally when I need advice regarding co-ops and grain. I always look forward to Logan's laid-back vibe when we hang out.
Groomsman
I met Nate my sophomore year of college in the dorms. We then lived together for a few years in Ames. Although I was the dirty roommate, he put up with me and we are still good friends to this day. Whenever I call Nate, he always has good advice to give no matter what subject we are on.
Groomsman
I met Brady the same night I met the rest of Wendy's family, on our first date. Brady has always been very welcoming and has made it easy for me to become part of Wendy's family. There would be no way for me to tell you how many times Brady has helped Wendy and I, in all aspects of life. Brady is an optimistic go-getter and we are very thankful for him.
