Is there parking at the rehearsal dinner/welcome party location?

Answer

There is not a dedicated parking lot for The Local. Typically there is street parking available in areas around The Local, but there may be limited availability on a Friday evening. Because of this, there will also be parking available for our guests at the Belmont Baptist Church: 830 Monticello Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22902 (4 min walk away from The Local).

Is there parking at the ceremony/reception venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the venue. Follow signs for The Market at Grelen if you plan to drive. The address for navigation is: 15091 Yager Road, Somerset, VA 22972

Where can I find the bus to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

If you are taking the provided bus transportation, the pick-up location is at the Water Street Bus Stop right outside the Omni Charlottesville Hotel. The buses will depart promptly at 4:10pm on Saturday, June 8, so plan to be on the bus by 4pm. We have three buses that are all running on the same schedule. The buses will return at the end of the night - departing The Market at Grelen around 11pm with an arrival time back to the Omni Charlottesville Hotel by 11:45pm.
