Madeline and Anthony have known each other for 12 years and have been thick as thieves for some time. Madeline is from a neighborhood called Fletcher Hills in San Diego, and Anthony is from Santee, CA. They met in 2012 when they were attending high school together in San Diego. For a long time, they were, "just best friends" and "didn't see each other romantically." They became really good friends in high school ASB, and eventually came to run the program as President and Vice President. They seemed to work really well together as a team. They even attended their Senior Prom together--adamant they were still just friends. Madeline attended the University of California, San Diego and Anthony attended San Diego State University after high school where they started seeing each other less, before reconnecting in 2017 for Maddie's mother's wedding. They began working together again on a number of projects and somewhere along the way, the friendship morphed into more than that. They dated for 5 years before Anthony flew her to New York City, where he got down on one knee at the top of 30 Rockefeller Center and asked her to marry him. She said yes. (Obviously.)
