We started really getting to know each other the summer of 2017 after our friends began moving away post grad. We had a really fun summer going out to Norris lake, trivia nights, sand volleyball games and late nights at Hannahs in the old city with friends. As we started hanging out more we grew more fond of each other. He bought me a mini strawberry bundt cake for my birthday before we were dating and that simple gesture had me sold!

Scott made reservations at Nama's downtown for the evening. After dinner we went back to our apartment and there were rose petals and lit candles on the patio. He got down on one knee with our fur baby Salem present and proposed growing old together. Scott had Champagne ready for a toast and hidden under the table there was a strawberry mini Bundt cake ❤️
