Kyle and Taylor met in high school. To be more specific it was in Miss Nace’s classroom in hallway 200. As somewhat of a joke, a few girls and Taylor signed up to be part of the Future Farmers Club at Spring Grove High School and then later attended the first meeting. Kyle was sitting on the counter top, talking with his buddies and cracking jokes. Taylor remembers him being funny and getting a laugh out of everyone. A year passed, the girls and Taylor got more involved with the Future Farmers Club, at this point Kyle and Taylor really didn’t talk at all. Eventually Taylor worked up the courage to get Kyle’s number. They texted back and forth and planned to go to the York Fair together in September. On October 16th 2014, after a Texas Roadhouse dinner and a stop at Starbucks for Taylor’s 16th birthday; Kyle asked Taylor to be his girlfriend. He gave Taylor flowers, to which she nervously asked “What color are they?” In her defense, it was dark! From there they paid a visit to Tony who was working on his John Deere tractor in his garage. At the end of their date, Kyle drove Taylor home, they said goodbye, and she completely forgot the flowers in the truck that night . From that day on, the two have made so many memories. From York State Fairs year after year, 4H meetings, 4H Goat Shows, breeding goats, helping with goat deliveries, going on road trips to buy goats.. you name it and they’ve done it with goats! The two have numerous hunting stories and enjoy each other’s company in the stand. There has been a lot of hay making and hay moving. Kyle and Taylor refer to themselves as the Hay King and Queen because of the amount of hay they make each year. They love to watch movies together, spend time with friends, go to auctions and make drives all over PA for new purchases. Kyle and Taylor have big dreams to achieve together. Someday they will have a first generation farm with a roadside stand. They can’t wait to have a family and continue their life together. 10 Years down, forever to go. ❤️
