Neither of us were in the best position at the time we met but I think that is why we met. He started working at the club in August and I was currently 6-7 months pregnant. Of course he gave me a strange look when he first saw me up there, that look of “why is a pregnant girl walking into a club?”, and i just blew him off and kept on. The longer he worked there the more we started talking and it just became something that I looked forward to doing, it was the best part of my day/night. Eventually I got his number and then our hangouts at the club turned into eating Hooters on Monday nights to helping him do things for the club and getting ice cream to taking walks at Shelby Farms even when I couldn’t finish. We talked everyday and he even offered to help me put baby furniture together one time. The closer my due date came and the more we were with each other I started realizing that I had real feelings for him and it was something completely different than anything I have ever felt before. We were at Hooters one night and he said he wanted to take me on a date but after Oliver was born and I was ready. I had Oliver three weeks early and Aaron actually got off work that night and came up to the hospital to see me and make sure that I was okay, the following Sunday him and Avery had come to meet Oliver before we went home. October 28, 2017 is the night that we had our first date and I’ll never forget it. I pulled up to his apartment and came inside to him finishing getting ready, of course, and some flowers that he had gotten me. We ate dinner at J Alexander’s and he kissed me for the first time that night and now he never stops! He changed my life and Oliver’s life and I could not ask for a better man to be my husband and the father to our children. We have been through so much together in a short period of time but God has a plan and maybe this is just his plan for us.
