When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We completely understand some of you may not be able to confirm your attendance until closer to the date, particularly those who are traveling. However, we will require your RSVP no later than May 1st, 2021 in order to confirm numbers with our caterer and venue.

You will be missed, but we absolutely understand! Please be sure to let us know of your plans through the RSVP link on this site.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with your family. Please let Muffy know if your kids will be attending, so we can plan accordingly.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

If you arrive on Thursday, please join us for a casual beach party on Scenic Beach. On Friday, all are invited to a cocktail reception hosted by Garrett's family. See the "Schedule of Events" page for times and more details!

What safety measures will be taken on the day?

Please be assured that your health and safety are our top priority! We will be adhering to all current restrictions and guidelines.

How many guests will be attending?

Answer

At this time, we are expecting around 120 guests.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As an additional safety measure, we have opted to plan an outdoor wedding. Both the ceremony and reception will be held in the Courtyard at La Playa Carmel hotel.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

Under the current event restrictions, non-vaccinated guests are encouraged to wear a mask. We will be providing masks at the venue for your convenience!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, so we can get the party started as scheduled! The ceremony will begin at 3 pm

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests can enjoy a cocktail hour on the upper patio. Followed by dinner and dancing!

Are we allowed to dance?

We will have dancing! (And other entertainment on the lawn).

Will you encourage social distancing?

Answer

We can’t wait to have all of our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, we do encourage you to refrain from physical contact with any guests outside of your household.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

This is a Paella Party, people! There will be various options including for those with dietary restrictions.
