Question

Passports

Answer

Pease check on your passports, even if you have one! Some countries may not allow you to enter the country if you have a passport expiring within 6 months. Passport renewals have been taking anywhere from 4-10 months, please take care of this early! My first-time passport came within 2 months when I got it early this year! Some say it can take as long as the renewal. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

Question

Dress Code

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in beach cocktail attire. All wedding day events will be beachside, and can get breezy. Please be prepared for temps ranging from 95-75 degrees. Bright summertime colors and florals are encouraged! Please no jeans or denim, and avoid any shade of white.

Question

Wedding Day Events

Answer

Barring any weather issues, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held beachside. Please refer to the resort map and any further communications from us to find those locations. Any changes to the locations will be communicated to all guests in a timely manner.

Question

RSVP

Answer

Please RSVP by March 25th, 2025. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you are unavailable to attend! If you cannot make it, you will be dearly missed! In this case, RSVP "not attending", and please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

Gifts and Registry

Answer

We have compiled a registry if you choose to buy to a gift. However, we are extremely grateful for the effort you will be making to join us for our destination wedding, and as such, please do not feel obligated to buy a gift!

Question

Guests and Plus Ones

Answer

Due to limited space and travel, we were only able to accommodate those guests formally invited apart of your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Invitations are specific and will include the names of all individuals invited, adult or child. However, we encourage you to use this celebration as an opportunity for a responsibility-free vacation!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony and invite you all to capture this memory in the present. Our photographers will capture this memory for the future! Please make sure to silence and put away all cell phones and devices before the ceremony begins.

Question

Can I drink the water in Cancun, Mexico?

Answer

You may safely drink water at restaurants and unlimited bottled water is available at our resort upon request. However, please keep in mind that Mexico uses different water treatment systems than the US and the tap water is not safe to drink. We want you all to stay as healthy as possible and would remind you to brush your teeth using bottled water.

Question

Do I have to stay at the resort?

Answer

Yes, the hotel requires that all guests must stay at the resort to participate in wedding events. If there is a valid and unique circumstance, please notify Andrew or Allison immediately. We may be able to obtain a special pass with the resort for an allotted time period.
