At the height of COVID, when the world seemed uncertain, Tyler and I found each other against all odds. He picked me up from my Menlo Park apartment for our first date, and we headed to the Alpine Inn for dinner and drinks. Over pizza and old fashiones, Tyler was so chatty—something I’ve since learned is rare for him! In fact, he was so talkative that I almost didn’t agree to a second date. But my mom, Susan, convinced me to give him another chance, and I’m so grateful she did. After that second date, our love blossomed slowly and steadily. We dated for three wonderful years, and on Christmas Day in 2023, Tyler proposed. Now, a year later, we’re planning our wedding and can’t wait to celebrate this incredible journey with all of our friends and family.
