Question

How long does it take to get from Boston area to Jay Peak?

Answer

While Jay Peak is just under a 4 hour drive from most locations within the Boston area we can promise you the drive will be well worth it! The following address will take you to Jay Peak and you can follow the signs to your hotel. 830 Jay Peak Rd, Jay, VT 05859

Question

How did you decide to have the wedding at Jay Peak?

Answer

We both have a long history with Jay Peak as we have been skiing/snowboarding at Jay since we were kids! Sarah has also hiked Jay Peak as it is part of the Long Trail. We have been in love with everything Northern VT has to offer and hope to share the beauty with you during our wedding weekend!

Question

How do we make it to the summit to attend the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Don't worry there is no reason to hike 4,000 ft! We have arranged for the Jay Peak Tram to take everyone to the summit, which is located directly next to the restaurant Alice's table and the Tram Haus Lodge. There are two trams that will be providing transportation and they each have a capacity of approximately 50 people. We would hate to have anyone miss the ceremony so please plan on arriving at the tram 60-75 minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to start. There will be beverages served at the summit so you might as well head up a little early and enjoy the views!

Question

COVID 19 - Precautions

Answer

We understand this is a very challenging and uncertain time for everyone. With the precautions below, we hope to keep our guests as safe as possible as we celebrate. We kindly request that if you plan to attend, you abide by these guidelines. * We request that everyone get a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the wedding or be vaccinated. * All tables will be spaced at least 6 ft apart. * Masks are currently required when indoors. All servers will be wearing masks indoors and outdoors. Finally, we know that each person's risk tolerance is different and very personal. While we would love to celebrate with all our loved ones, we sincerely understand if you do not feel comfortable celebrating with us in person in June. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Sarah (sogriffi@gmail.com) or Matt (matthwe.ducas@gmail.com) with any questions!

Question

WHERE CAN I GET A COVID-19 TEST BEFORE THE WEDDING?

Answer

We ask all guests that have not yet been vaccinated to have tested negative for COVID-19 through a PCR test within 72 hours of the wedding. Below are a few resources for testing. Particularly for guests who live outside of Massachusetts, we encourage you to visit your state's COVID-19 response page. 1. Massachusetts has many free testing options through its "Stop the Spread" initiative. Visit https://www.mass.gov/info-details/find-a-covid-19-test for more details. 2. There are many at-home PCR testing options, such as Pixel by LabCorp COVID-19 Test. These may or may not be covered by insurance. 3. CIC Health offers PCR tests by appointment at locations across MA, RI, CT and VT. Costs vary by location and results are typically reported in 1-3 days. https://www.cic-health.com/
