Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We'd recommend arriving early (around 2:30 or earlier) to the ceremony to check out the national shrine! It is a beautiful church with the largest stain glass display in the United States. There are also multiple exceptional chapels tucked away that you can explore.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We are going black tie optional. If you have a tux, feel free to throw it on, but a suit and tie are also perfectly acceptable! Ladies, think long or mid-length dresses on the formal side. You will not have to walk on grass at any point, so bust out those heels!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Ceremony parking is plentiful - please drive towards the back of the Shrine and park near the building with the large spire! That is where the ceremony will take place. For the reception, the parking will be at a lot that is slightly separate from the Lake House Inn. The address for the lot is 1071 OLD BETHLEHEM RD., PERKASIE, PA 18944. There will be a shuttle running every few minutes from the lot to the venue!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We both love the kiddos in our families, so there will be some children present at the wedding by invitation only! If you have a little baby who you would like to bring along who does not require a plated meal, reach out to us and let us know! We want it to be possible for everyone to make it to the wedding, and if that means bringing along your little one, that's just a bonus in our eyes :)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes, there is transportation from the hotel blocks to all the festivities! The drive from the hotel to the Shrine is about 35 minutes, the drive from the Shrine to the Lake House Inn is about 20 minutes, and the drive from the Lake House Inn back to the hotels is about 20 minutes. We've got you covered for each ride.
Question
I noticed a small gap between the ceremony and reception. Why is that?
Answer
We are just giving ample time for everyone to make their way to the Lake House Inn! We expect that there will be lots of hello's and hugs after the ceremony, and then we will be coordinating transportation and parking. Slightly early arrival to the Lake House Inn is allowable.
