Jillian and Griff first met in 2016 while working together, where a friendship naturally formed and quietly grew over the years. Life eventually brought them together in a new way in 2020, when friendship turned into something more during the most unexpected of times. Their early days of dating were filled with outdoor dining, board games, and cozy house parties - simple moments that laid the foundation for something lasting. After a year together, they took a leap and moved to Idaho for a job opportunity, beginning a season of adventure that would span three years. From there came a brief chapter in California, followed by an even bigger move to Maui in 2024 - each new place strengthening their bond and love for exploring life side by side. While on Maui, Griff planned what appeared to be the perfect staycation at the Grand Wailea, complete with a couples massage, lunch, and a couple drinks at the swim-up bar. At this point, Jillian should have known exactly what was coming next, but with the help of her being completely oblivious, the day continued as planned. A walk down to the beach, a few photos, and suddenly everything changed forever. The day was perfectly topped off with a celebratory dinner at one of their favorite Maui restaurants, Humuhumunukunukuapuaʻa, marking the start of their next chapter together. Their chapter on Maui eventually came to an end, bringing them back to New York - right where it all began. And now, here they are, preparing for the most meaningful day of their lives, surrounded by the people they love most. With hearts full and bags always half packed, they look forward to continuing their adventure together, wherever it may lead!
