Where is the Sparks Family Farm

Answer

Sparks Family Farm is home to dear friends and neighbors of the Wood family. The Sparks have generously offered their scenic farmstead with Adirondack views for this special event. We are so appreciative to be able to celebrate with all of you in such a beautiful location!

What should I expect?

Answer

This event will take place under a spacious white outdoor tent, complete with tables and chairs, ensuring we can celebrate in style, rain or shine! Enjoy a variety of yard games surrounding the tent, adding to the fun. The talented band Buffalo Rose will be providing live music, and a delicious buffet-style dinner will be catered by Adventure Dinner.

What is a cookie table?

Answer

Cookies on cookies on a table!! A Pennsylvania cookie table is the heart and soul of any celebration—a sweet, sugary extravaganza! Picture a long table piled high with a deliciously diverse array of homemade cookies, from buttery snickerdoodles and soft chocolate chip cookies to mystical matcha macarons. It's a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds, offering a little bit of everything for everyone. We are kindly asking those who are able, to bring a batch of their favorite cookies! They will all be added to a large cookie table that everyone will have access to throughout the evening ❤️🍪

Where is there to stay?

Answer

There are several options on where to stay based on your comfort level. Tenting: are you a crazy wild child who wants to party and not worry about driving? Do you like to enjoy nature and want to stay within yards from party central? There is a lovely area just outside the party grounds that is wide open and ready for you to come pitch your favorite tent! Hotels: Middlebury Inn 16 Court Square, Middlebury VT 05753. We do not have a block of rooms pre booked and apologize in advance. AirBNB: there are many options :)

What about Parking?

Answer

Parking will be provided on-site. As your approach, please follow the clearly marked signs. If you are car pooling with individuals who have a harder time with longer walk distances, there is a drop off location further down the road and a driveway to turn around in.

What about the weather?

Answer

We will be celebrating rain or shine due to the outside tent, so dress accordingly! Obviously as the weather changes, we will adapt to still make sure that everyone still has a fun filled evening!

What about the bathroom situation?

Answer

We will be renting clean, portable bathrooms to be placed out in the field with us to prevent the use of the house on the property.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking everyone to dress causal/festive! Wear something fun, something spontaneous, something you’ve always wanted to wear but never had the occasion! But also be realistic for a rustic Vermont outdoor celebration. Be sure to also bring layers as the temperature changes throughout the evening when the sun goes down!
