Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 in the afternoon. We encourage guests to show up at least 30 minutes prior to mingle, get a seat, and avoid any scrambling! If you will be parking a camper or setting up a tent before the ceremony, you are welcome to set up anytime that works for you! Kindly contact the parents of the Bride if you plan to arrive Friday or sooner. There will be a designated area for campers and tents!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We’re keeping things laid-back and fun, but we’d still love for everyone to dress nicely! Think casual cocktail attire (semi-formal) — no need for suits or gowns, but please skip the jeans and flip-flops. Since it’s a fall wedding, we’re hoping for warm sunshine during the day, but it’ll likely get chilly once the sun goes down. Be sure to bring a jacket or some cozy layers so you can stay comfortable and enjoy the night with us!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put phones and cameras away during the ceremony — we’re hoping to keep this moment unplugged and fully present. We’ve hired two amazing professional photographers to capture it all, so you can relax, soak it in, and be right there with us. Don’t worry — we’ll share the beautiful photos afterward!

Question

What's for Dinner?

Answer

We are so grateful for Jacob's uncle Chuck for preparing a pig roast for the wedding! We’ll have plenty of delicious sides to go along with it, but if you feel inspired to bring a favorite dish to share, we’d absolutely love that! No pressure at all — just come hungry and ready to enjoy a laid-back, family-style meal with us.

Question

What is the booze situation?

Answer

We’ll have a small open bar with a few fun signature cocktails (drinks TBD — we’re still taste-testing!), along with a limited selection of beer and wine for everyone to enjoy. If you have a favorite beer or seltzer you'd prefer, feel free to bring your own! We want everyone to relax and have a great time, so you're more than welcome to stock a cooler with your go-to drinks!

Question

I have a different question!

Answer

If you have any other questions leading up to the big day, feel free to reach out to us — we’re happy to help! That said, on the day of the wedding, we’ll be a little busy (you know, getting married and all), so please avoid reaching out then. If something comes up day-of, we’ll make sure there’s someone you can check in with!
