We’re Getting Married!!

We met in Oakdale in 2008, after our mutual friend brought Amanda out to the lake for the day. During that summer we all hung out and created some memories with all of our friends… ones we will never forget. Lake days, cabin trips & lots of Jager & Captain Morgan, thanks Jon Beck.

Throughout the years we both went about our lives, with new relationships, children & life experiences. In 2018, we ran into one another at a country concert… yes we did say country, Justin Moore to be exact… anyone that knows Jared, knows he hates it! Anyways, after seeing each other at that concert we kept in touch. After a few weeks we finally hungout, and the rest was easy. After only a few short months, the L word was dropped & we both knew that we had found our better half. He met the children Carson & Westyn, and they absolutely adored him.

We went on our weekend anniversay trip to South Lake Tahoe. This was one of the places Jared and I travel quite often, and it is one of our favorites. It was our first day there & we had went to Zephyr Cove with some friends & they suggested we all go parasailing. I, being terrified of heights was a little hesitant, but Jared assured me we would be fine. We get on the boat, listening to some good music, talking with our captain while the others take their turn going up in the air to see this beautiful view. Finally our turn rolls around, Jared holding our Go Pro, my nerves kicking in & the next thing you know we are 500ft in the air. As we are up there enjoying this gorgeous view, Jared turns to me and says - “Babe, I have a really important question to ask you, will you marry me!?” -My response was, “sure ill marry you”… -he said “no, like this is the official proposal” -I of course said “Yes, I will marry you!”… But after that I turned to him once again and said “are you serious!?” && he said of course!!! I wasn’t in total shock because we had been talking about marriage & kids, but to be 500ft in the air in the most gorgeous place, and get to say yes to Marrying my best friend was the best ever!!! Saying yes to him was the easiest thing ! Now we cannot wait to say I DO & to grow our little family.
