FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be provided from downtown Bozeman to The Woodlands before the ceremony, and another at the end of the evening to safely return guests back to town. Stay tuned for more information on exact bus times.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. Plan to arrive by 2:30 PM to enjoy the fresh mountain air, the scenery, and a moment before we tie the knot!

Question

Is there a welcome party?

Answer

Yes! Instead of a rehearsal dinner, we’d love to kick off the weekend together with food, drinks, and great company. The Grindes will be hosting a "western garden soiree" for the welcome party the night before at the Story Mansion in Bozeman, which is just a short walk from downtown. Beer & wine and light bites will be provided on Thursday 09/03/2026 from 6:00–8:00 PM. Little ones are more than welcome to join us at the welcome dinner!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the wedding day, we would love to see you get dressed up with us! We are requesting our guests dress in cocktail attire. For ladies this means a long or midi dress or a dressy pantsuit. For men this means a suit or dress pants with a blazer and dress shirt — ties optional but welcome. The ceremony will be outdoors and the weather in Montana this time of year tends to be warm during the day but can get chilly when the sun goes down. For the welcome dinner, the theme is "western garden soiree". Think sundresses, linen sets, denim jackets, anything with a light western flair. Cowboys boots & hats are encouraged but not required!
