Kate and Greyson met in high school, in their junior year history class when nobody had the last name between S and Z and they happened to be sat next to each other. Kate spent the whole first day of class figuring out who the cute red head was sitting next to her. Over the summer a friendship turned into a romance and they began dating senior year. A homecoming and a prom later they were both off to college, Kate at East Stroudsburg University and Greyson at Stevens Institute of Technology. Kate swam and Greyson ran but they visited as often as they possibly could. They spent wondrous weekends together in New York, Hoboken and in the Burg. Four long years later Kate graduated and got a job in Rockville as Greyson finished up one more semester. While home for Thanksgiving break in November of 2018, Greyson took Kate and her younger brother Eric out to dinner in downtown Frederick. After dinner at the Wine Kitchen (one of their favorites!), they were standing along Carroll Creek when Greyson dropped to one knee and popped the question! Eric, of course, was standing by to take photos and capture the moment! 6 years together and ready for many more to come, they cannot wait to get married!
