Is alcohol allowed at the wedding?

Answer

✨ Please note: our venue does not allow alcohol, so there will be no alcohol served during the wedding or reception. You’re welcome to celebrate however you’d like before the ceremony, and after the reception we’ll be heading out to continue the fun! 🎉 If you’d like to join us afterwards, just send me a message for details. 💌

👗 Dress Code: Semi-formal attire. Our wedding colors are sage green, dusty pink, and plum, so if you’d like to coordinate with the theme, feel free! 🌿💐💜 The only request is no white, as that’s reserved for the bride on her special day. 🤍✨

What would we like for a gift?

Answer

We are so grateful to have your love and support as we start this new chapter together! 💕 If you’d like to gift us something for the wedding, we recently moved into our own place and would love for any “honeymoon” funds to go toward turning our house into a home. 🏡✨ We would also greatly appreciate any home appliances—new or gently used—as we settle in. Your kindness truly means the world to us! 💌

🍴 Reception Menu 🍴 We’ll be serving pulled pork, brisket, and classic BBQ sides, along with select sodas, tea, and lemonade to sip on. Save room for something sweet—we’ll also have dessert! 🍰✨

Can I still come to the reception if I can’t make it to the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us in celebrating our big day! Our ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM and lead directly into the reception from 12:30–3:30 PM. If you’re unable to attend the ceremony, you are still more than welcome to come for the reception and celebrate with us! 🎉💍

Are kids welcome?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids are welcome! We’ll have plenty of little ones joining in the celebration, so feel free to bring yours along. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so just keep that in mind when planning for the day. 🌿✨
