In spring 2018, while doing research at The Smith, Gretty & Austin maybe got a little too excited for professional photos. But got a cute couple pic too!

Austin & Gretty met doing a production of "She Kills Monsters" in 2016. (Auditions were Gretty's very first week on campus!)

Summer 2018 meant Shakespeare in the Park in Rochester.

Austin & Gretty celebrated their first anniversary at the Richard Rogers with Hamilton. January 2019.

As a gift for awesome research, Gretty & Austin are literally written in stone right outside The Smith.

After years long distance, Austin made the move to Chicago!

Gretty joined Austin a few months later, and Chicago theater has never been the same. Frankenstein at the Lyric!

Look, IDK, you can take a kid out of the theater...

Year after year, Rennaissance Faire with friends has bookended lazy, hot summers.

And even in downtown Chicago, Austin and Gretty have found pockets of natural beauty to hike and enjoy.

In 2023, Gretty and Austin travelled to Italy where they went to Austin's favorite places from study abroad - including Pompeii!

In October 2024, at their favorite Friday night happy hour spot, Austin popped the question.

And turns out that pumpkins are really great, "We're engaged!" photo backdrops.

Espresso is for lovers, especially when they're us. It's hard to find us without coffee these days, whether Austin- or Metric-provided.
