The nearest major airports are León (BJX) and Querétaro (QRO). Both are about 1.5 hours from San Miguel. You can book a private transfer, shuttle service, or rent a car. San Miguel has many boutique hotels and vacation rentals available. We recommend booking early, as it is a popular destination. We also suggest choosing accommodations near the church. The wedding dress code is semi-formal. Since San Miguel de Allende is a historic town with cobblestone streets, we recommend comfortable shoes or wedges for women. Our wedding planner will be available to help guests book transportation back to their hotel when they are ready to leave, but guests will be responsible for covering the cost of their return ride. Our wedding menu includes a selection starting with canapés like cochinita pibil wrapped in tortilla with habanero salsa, smoked salmon skewers, chipotle chicken on crispy corn, and Argentine chorizo focaccia. For starters, we will serve a Caesar salad with grilled chicken breast and fine herb chimichurri. For the main course, guests can enjoy grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes in chipotle sauce, or a center-cut filet mignon with roasted baby potatoes in rosemary butter and parsley asparagus. Nuestro menú de boda incluye una selección que comienza con canapés como encerradito relleno de cochinita pibil con salsa de habanero, broqueta de salmón ahumado, crujiente de maíz con pollo al chipotle y focaccia con chorizo argentino. De entrada serviremos ensalada César con pechuga a la parrilla y chimichurri a las finas hierbas. Parking near the church can be challenging due to narrow streets and limited spaces. We recommend arriving early to find a spot or consider using a taxi or rideshare service to make it easier. Hacienda La Gloria offers ample parking for all guests, so you’ll have no trouble finding a place to park once you arrive. To ensure everyone has a smooth experience, we will also provide transportation options between the ceremony and reception for those who prefer not to drive.
