We are getting married on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at Candlewood Inn in Brookfield, Connecticut. The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm followed by cocktail hour and the reception. The earliest time that guests may arrive is 3:30pm to find seating as the ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm.
The ceremony will be held outdoors in the grass lawn overlooking Candlewood Lake. Cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors at the venue.
The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Ladies may wear full- length or tea-length dresses or jumpsuits. Since it will be in August, think summer tones. Bold colors, floral prints and airy fabrics are welcomed! For men, black tie optional. The bridal party will be wearing a light sage green.
We reserved a room block under the name Hofmann and Mazzamaro Wedding at two hotels: The Comfort Inn and the Hampton Inn. Both located in Danbury for Wednesday 8/5 and Thursday 8/6 for a discounted rate when booked before July 3rd. The wedding party is encouraged to reserve their room at the Comfort Inn.
