FAQs

Question

When should I arrive to the church for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the church about 15-20 minutes early. We hope to start promptly at 1:30pm to be respectful to the Church staff, as Easter is a long day for them and they would like to be home to spend Easter with their families as well :) If you are running late, please contact ___ or ___. This is a very small and intimate ceremony, so your presence will be missed if you are late.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please do not take photos during the ceremony. You can take photos before and after, but we want everyone to be present and live in the moment together. We'll have a professional to capture every memory, so we will share those photos with you when we get them.

Question

What should I wear on this wonderfully special day?

Answer

Please wear colorful, bright, and springy clothing - think your Easter best! We want to look at you all and feel like we are looking into a field of flowers. Of course, please avoid white/white adjacent dominated clothing like cream, beige, ivory, etc. If you have any questions, feel free to text Gretchen at (216) 855-4890.

Question

What should I bring for Easter Dinner?

Answer

We are doing dinner potluck style! Bring whatever you'd like! Your favorite side dish? A 2 liter of coke? Any and all is welcome! We are expecting ~35 people. There are some folks with nut allergies, so please try to avoid anything involving nuts~ Please use this link to fill out the spreadsheet of anything you'd like to bring! https://www.canva.com/design/DAG-o-MErTo/71yCQD5N6jqY-LEy25yWVQ/edit?utm_content=DAG-o-MErTo&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

Question

Should I drop food off before or after the ceremony?

Answer

Either option is fine. If you do before, we can coordinate in advance amongst the family as to where it is most convenient to drop things off at to keep things at food safe temperatures.

Question

Gifts?

Answer

We have chosen not to create a registry as your presence is all we could ever ask for. If you do wish to give, we would be grateful to a contribution towards next years wedding reception funds. Please see the registry tab for more information :)
