“We might have took the long way, we knew we’d get there someday.”

I was a nanny and Jason was working at XCEL. I had taken the kids to the zoo, and asked Jason if he’d like to meet us for lunch. We had our first date with two little supervisors at Green Mill. As we were leaving Jason asked if he could see me again. I said,”Maybe.” The rest of the afternoon we texted getting to know one another more, and he asked a second time if he could see me again. I said,”Sure, how about tonight.” We had our second first date at Hell’s Kitchen. Two weeks later I moved back home to WI, and after making the long distance work over the summer, we made the next step commitment in our relationship and I moved into the townhouse. The townhouse held many firsts for our family, starting with us welcoming Piper! We ventured north of the cities to Coon Rapids, where we became engaged. Our next move was to the last rental we would ever have in Anoka. There we welcomed Eliza to the family! We were fortunate enough to find our forever home this past summer, and cannot wait to see all the memories we will make for the rest of our lives. Starting with saying “I do” in our backyard, surrounded by close family and friends!!!
