Our Story

We have been friends for 14 years, growing close through Marching band at our high school. This is from the first season after Gretchen convinced Harrison to join the band.

We started dating in High School and our friendship grew even closer

Harrison would visit Gretchen when she was down at OSU often, when they weren't together you could find them texting each other or on facetime with each other

During Lockdown in 2020 Gretchen and Harrison started Camping every weekend, Hiking whenever they could and just being with each other every moment they could steal.

That Winter Gretchen Convinced Harrison to buy season tickets for Skiing and they spent every free moment on the slopes at Timberline.

In 2021 Gretchen and Harrison moved to Tennessee for Gretchen to go to Nursing school and Harrison to attend Lineman school.

In Winter of 2022 their little family grew by one fluffy member adding Moose.

While in Tennessee Gretchen dragged Harrison to Disney World with her every chance he would let her.

Then in Fall of 2023 They moved to Couer d'Alene ID for Gretchen to start her nursing Career

In January of 2024, Gretchen and Harrison said goodbye to their sweet moose after learning his heart had an unfixable hole in it. This was a very rough time for them and their relationship.

Summer of 2024 They added Bandit to their little family!

North Idaho has truly become home for Gretchen and Harrison and they look forward to starting their married life together here.

They started attending their friends weddings and this brought them so close being surrounded by love, friends, and family.

After 8 years of being together, on January 24th 2025, Harrison finally asked Gretchen to marry him in Disneyland on a family trip. Obviously she said YES!

Celebrating their engagement with close family was such a joy in Disneyland. P.S. there is many photos like this from their trip and yes it was Gretchen's idea.
