This is the story of Greta and Kevin's friendship which blossomed into a strong love

Kevin and Greta first met by a mutual friend and a love for pho. In college, Greta met another student in her lab named Tyson. After he learned Greta had a car, Tyson asked her to bring him and his roommate, Kevin, to the Asian grocery store for pho ingredients. After that day, Greta would take Tyson and Kevin to a grocery store every so often and in exchange, Tyson would invite her over for pho.

After a semester of shared dinners, Greta invited Tyson and Kevin to her 20th birthday party. Although, they were still only friends, they had a great time and Kevin brought her a birthday gift of cheese because he thought "that's something a Wisconsin girl would want".

In the summer after the school year they met, Kevin and Greta went to Tyson's 21st birthday. After a great BBQ by chef Kevin, the whole group went out to the bars. Everyone had a fun night of drinking and dancing. On the walk back, Greta and Kevin had they're first real and deep conversation about college, moving on in life, and love.

One year after Tyson's 21st birthday (with plenty of dinners and parties shared in between), Tyson graduated and moved to LA. Once again, everyone got together and had a great time dancing at the bars in Madison. That night, Kevin walked Greta home and they connected more.

Kevin and Greta's friendship continued and grew stronger as they hung out more one-on-one and in smaller groups. Over the summer, they went camping, on several hikes, and took a trip to Chicago. Each time, growing closer for shared love of adventure and good food.

At the end of the summer, Kevin invited Greta to go the Renaissance fair together. That weekend, they strolled through the fair holding hands, went to a nice restaurant, and visited lake Michigan. Soon after, they made their relationship official and consider this their first real date.

Greta's long-term dream was always to get a PhD in Neuroscience and Kevin's was to move back to his home state of Colorado. She was applying to programs when Kevin and she started dating. They were both overjoyed when she got accepted into CU-Boulder's PhD program. In the summer of 2024, they both moved to Colorado and have been living together with their two adorable cats, Ember and Charlie, every since.
