How do you reach Cohasset?

Answer

The address is 165 Maple Creek Ranch Road Cohasset, CA 95973 (From the General Store go 2.4 miles to our entrance. Once you see Cal Fire it will be the next road. Enter on the road in front of the Community Center. Once you see the street sign that says, "Maple Creek Ranch Rd" and a 10MPH sign, you'll know you are at the right place. After you turn on the road, the entrance to our property is approximately 400 feet straight ahead. You'll pass through our entrance gate that has a large round sawmill blade on the top. Please respect the residence to the south of the Community Center by going slow and not disturbing them. (They've complained to us several times about this). An easy way to remember how to avoid the neighbor is to turn after the row of mailboxes. Once you go under the entrance, our driveway is ¾ mile to our residence.

Attire?

Answer

This is a casual fall wedding! We want you to feel comfortable and be ready to have as much fun as possible. We suggest that you wear comfortable shoes, that you don't mind getting a little dirty since the wedding will take place outside. The terrain of the property is a bit uneven, so please take that into account when picking your shoe choice.

COVID Information

Answer

We recognize there are new outbreaks with COVID variants. We are fortunate that our wedding is on private family property so we do not have to worry about our venue closing down, or limiting us, so our wedding will go on as planned. We do recognize, however, that people may have growing concerns. Here is what we can offer as comfort - this event will be completely outdoors. There is plenty of space to watch and participate from a distance. We know all of our guests closely and most guests are fully vaccinated. We are using single serving utensils & plates and delivery of food will be planned out with guests safety in mind. If you have further concerns, feel free to wear a mask and text Greta with any questions you may have at 707-601-8527. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a date?

Please refer to who the invitation was addressed to. If you have any questions regarding your specific plus one situation, please reach out to us directly.

Where to park?

Answer

There will be signs and personnel once you reach the property directing you where to park. From there it is a short walk to the ceremony/reception area, however there will be a few vehicles available to help with transportation if needed. Again, please carpool if possible as we would like to limit the amount of traffic on the property.

Flash Photography & Unplugged ceremony

Answer

Please be sure that you do not use flash photography & respect that we have a hired photographer to get the shot. Our ceremony will be unplugged so that all can be fully involved in the celebration. Please allow the photographer to get photos without iphones in them! Thanks!

How do you find our Amazon registry?

If you click on the registry tab at the top of this page, it will take you to our registry. From there click the "shop elsewhere" option on the left hand side. This should show you our Amazon registry items.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We are providing an open bar, however, it will be limited to beer, wine, hard seltzers, and champagne.

Are kids invited?

Of course! It is up to you if you would like to leave them at home or with a babysitter. Please let us know on your RSVP who from your family will be attending so we can plan accordingly.

When should I book my hotel/Airbnb?

Answer

We encourage you to book as soon as possible. It is going to be Oktoberfest weekend in Chico so please keep that in mind.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Typically. during October the weather is around 70-80 degrees during the day and gets colder throughout the evening.

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony & reception will be outdoors so please plan accordingly.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan ahead.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an 30 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Our wedding colors are terracotta, champagne rose, burnt Orange, and sage.
