Things To Do

We're sharing some fun to-dos and some of our favorite restaurants in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville. These are all approximately sorted by distance from the hotel. If you want to take the trek out to some of our local spots, make sure to get a public transit T pass for the day or weekend. The hotel is close to the Charles/MGH station on the Red Line, and most of our favorite spots are also on the Red Line in Central and Davis, which you can get to directly from Charles/MGH. MIT's campus is on the Red Line as well in Kendall Square. If you feel the need to visit that other university in Cambridge, Harvard is on the Red Line too. If you're taking the Red Line to go into Cambridge you'll take the T towards Alewife. To return to Boston, you will take the T towards Ashmont or Braintree - either one.
