Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, we are hosting an adult-only event! The only children attending the ceremony, but leaving before the reception, will be the bride and groom's nieces and nephews.
Our wedding will be a cocktail attire affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit; tuxedos/ties not required! Ladies can opt for a midi formal cocktail dress or a glamorous floor-length dress - whatever you are most comfortable in. When considering your footwear, please keep in mind that the cocktail hour and dinner service will take place over the Rose Garden grass - thicker heels may be the better option. Also, while the days will be warm in Santa Clara, the nights can quickly cool off. Consider bringing a shawl or light jacket for the evening. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
Plus ones are by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!
Because our host hotel and our ceremony and reception are so close to each other, we suggest that guests leverage Uber or Lyft when traveling on the wedding day. Please choose the Mission Santa Clara de Asís as your drop off or pick up locations to avoid accidentally choosing a distant part of Santa Clara University's campus. Visit this link for a full view of the University's campus: https://www.scu.edu/map/. While guests can access limited parking on campus, please reach out to the bride or groom if you expect to drive. We will share parking accommodations accordingly.
After the wedding ceremony in the Mission concludes, guests will take a very brief stroll under the wisteria-covered pergola pathway to arrive at the reception space in the Rose Garden and Adobe Lodge. The Rose Garden is less than a few hundred feet from the Mission, but feel free to explore more of the University's beautiful campus if you'd like before cocktail hour begins at 4:30 pm. Cocktail hour and dinner will be served on the Rose Garden followed by dancing inside the Adobe Lodge.
