Semi-formal dress. Example: cocktail dress or suit.
The ceremony will be held on the beach in the sand. The reception is indoors at the Pelican Brewing restaurant. Shoes are required inside the restaurant. Guests may go in and out to the beach. There will be dancing inside. The parking lot is paved. We suggest comfortable dress shoes that can be easily taken on and off.
Currently, the forecast for June 3rd is partly sunny in Pacific City, Oregon. The bride and groom will provide clear ponchos for guests. Please plan to use the clear ponchos as this will be best for photos of the ceremony (rather than umbrellas that will obstruct views). If it is storming or raining hard (unlikely!) the wedding ceremony may be moved indoors to the reception venue at the Pelican Brewery.
The weather can be unpredictable at the Oregon Coast. It may be sunny and warm! Or, it could be a bit wet and windy. Wind is likely either way. We suggest bringing your regular beach attire, but also pack a light windbreaker or rain jacket.
We hope everyone will stay safe and healthy in order to enjoy our wedding events! Please take common sense precautions before and during our wedding. We all must do what we can to keep each other healthy! We will provide any COVID-19 restrictions from the venue (Pelican Brewery) as received.
