1000 Steps Beach
Greg and Emily got engaged here! It is a beautiful place to walk along the beach, especially at sunset. The name of this beach is fitting, so be prepared to climb, wear shoes (its rocky!) and visit during low tide.
Cabrillo Bike Path
The Cabrillo Bike Path stretches from Leadbetter Beach to Shoreline Park and all the way to Butterfly Beach in Montecito. It’s flat, breezy, and gives you stunning ocean views the entire ride. Great for a casual ride or a sunset stroll.
Douglas Family Preserve & Butterfly Beach
This peaceful bluff-top trail offers ocean views, coastal breezes, and a chance to stretch your legs. It’s dog-friendly and ends near Butterfly Beach—a perfect spot for a post-hike relax or swim.
Santa Barbara Trolley
A narrated, open-air trolley ride that’s a fun way to see the city’s highlights. You'll pass spots like the Santa Barbara Courthouse, Old Mission, Stearns Wharf, and more. Tours run Thursday through Monday at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. A laid-back way to see the sights without too much walking!
