Question
We're coming from out of state. Where should we fly into?
Answer
Unfortunately, Trumbull is a little out of the way. Here are some airport options: If the airline Avelo flies from your local airport you could fly into New Haven, CT which is only about 20 minutes from the hotel. Also in CT is Bradley International airport (about 1 hour away) and Westchester International Airport (45 mins). If none of the CT airports work for you the NY airports are all about 1hr-1.5hrs away (JFK, Newark and Laguardia). If you prefer to take the train from New York versus getting a cab, Uber or other car service, the train from Grand Central Station goes straight to Bridgeport, CT. It is about a 1.5hr train ride and the train station is about 15 mins from the hotel.

We have rooms blocked off in the Trumbull Marriot (203-378-1400). If you call to book a reservation let them know you will be there for the Goldberg-Coleman wedding. How will we get from the hotel to the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony and reception are only about 4 miles away from the hotel and there will be a shuttle that will make two separate trips to the wedding. The shuttle will also make two trips back to the hotel after the reception.

What if we want to drive ourselves?
Answer
Go for it! However, there will be limited parking available and we highly encourage taking the shuttles provided. If you do drive, we request that you please either park in the lake parking lot or along East Lake Rd (there are signs that say "No Parking," just ignore them. We've been parking there for years and never had a problem. Please just only park on one side of the street so you wont block any cars or emergency vehicles that need to get through).

What should I wear?
Answer
The ceremony will take place in a garden/backyard in June. The dress-code is semi-formal/formal. We want everyone to look and feel their best! That being said, a few suggestions: the ceremony will take place on grass (probably best for ladies to avoid stiletto's), the reception is a short walk from where the ceremony is being held (900 feet/3 min walk, downhill; just another thing to think about with shoe choice),
Question
Can I bring a date?
Answer
Unfortunately, there is limited capacity at the venue. If we had the space we would love for you to bring your date! However, there won't be an empty seat in the house! So, if your date was not specifically listed on the invite we won't be able to accommodate them. We'd love to meet your date any other time!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
There will be vegetarian and gluten free options provided by the caterer. That being said please let Shaina know as soon as possible if you have any other food allergies or restrictions!
