This odd spot off the beaten path is good for a quick drink. The real beauty is in the giant early 1900s grain solos surrounding it. Rustic speakeasy vibes.

Impressive beer list and fun, casual bites.

The Old Pink

223 Allen Street, Buffalo, NY 14201

228 Allen Street, Buffalo, NY 14201

The best cocktail bar in the neighborhood. Good spot to start the night.

Bidwell Parkway

Bidwell Parkway, Buffalo, NY

Delaware Park

Buffalo, NY

Buffalo's biggest park. Winding trails are a great place for a morning walk or run around for you and the kids. One of the oldest bars in Buffalo- dating back to the 1800s when it was used as a tavern pit stop for overnight travelers by horse. Every square inch is covered in American history. If you catch the owner bartending, he offers trivia questions to all guests throughout the night. This is a DIVE- you've been warned.

If you can't make it all the way to Bar Bill, these are my pick for 2nd best wings in America. It's a third of the distance away, but note that you will most likely wait awhile to be served food. That's why God made Labatt Blue Light. Elite fries too. Grab a side.

Saint Neri

220 Lexington Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222
