Lori and Greg first met in 2004 at Joe and Kelly Lucero's engagement party. They both caught each other’s eyes, though were dating others at the time. Fast forward to July 4, 2017: Lori and Greg cross paths again at the Masterson's (Kelly's parents) 4th of July party. Lori had just been "stood up" by her date and she declared to Kelly she was finished with dating, and in walks Greg. They both caught each other's eyes, though kept their distance. However, Joe and Kelly saw there was potential. For the next 3 months, Joe and Kelly hosted many dinners and football parties providing Lori and Greg a casual atmosphere to get to know each other. In October, Greg invited Joe, Kelly, their girls (Cecilia, Ginny and Mimi), and Lori to go apple picking. Karen, Lori's mom was also visiting, so she too joined the crowd. That evening, Greg offered to make a culinary delight of the day's pickings: Butternut Squash and Apple soup. Lori was hooked! The next week, Lori asked Greg if he would be willing to show her how he made the soup. Greg agreed. She had such a great time hanging with Greg, that she panicked, blurting out... "I don't know where this is going, but I don’t think I’m ready to date." Greg wasn't sure what he wanted either, so they just kept hanging out. By November, Greg figured it was worth taking the risk to make the hang outs more formal, and asked Lori to dinner and the orchestra at the Kennedy Center. They have been together ever since! As many of you know Greg and Lori enjoy discussing politics and are both very independent individuals. Denise Holland, jokingly referred to the two as the Mighty Orth Glover Alliance, and it stuck! Therefore, Lori and Greg are excited to have you witness the "Signing of the Mighty Orth Glover Alliance (MOGA) ", a.k.a their wedding day! #MOGA2023
