Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is the closest commercial airport. It takes about 45-minutes to drive from the airport to Walnut Grove. For lodging, we recommend staying in Elk Grove or Sacramento. For easy access to the venue, we recommend staying close to the I-5 Freeway. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Walnut Grove from Sacramento or Elk Grove. Below are two hotels in Elk Grove that we recommend. We will have a shuttle that will take guests from the hotels to the temple, and then a return service in the evening.
