The Beginning: Six years ago, on a Friday in November, two high school kids sat down at Safeway for some chicken strips and there began the start of the best adventure we never saw coming. Since then, we’ve hit milestone after milestone; tackled long distance, moved across the country, and built a life full of memories, laughter, and more than a few inside jokes. Through it all, we've grown closer to each other and deeper in our walk with Christ, the foundation of everything we’re building together. The Proposal: March 28, 2025 was one of those perfect days. We spent it hiking through Yosemite Valley, soaking in the views and enjoying each others company. Kiley suspected something was up and spent most of the day trying to find the ring... with no success. As we left the park, I suggested we drive out to Jawbone to catch the sunset. Though Kiley thought that Cherry Oil Road would be the death of her, we made it to our destination. I put my final plan in motion, retrieving the ring as we went to look at the beautiful wildflowers. Kiley asked what they were, and when I called them scrambled eggs she crouched down to take a photo in an attempt to fact-check me. While she was taking pictures, I got down on one knee behind her and waited for her to turn around. She proceeded to read me the entire list of facts about them before she finally turned around and I asked “Will you marry me?” We are so grateful you’re here to celebrate the next chapter of this journey — one led by love, rooted in faith, and written by the One who brought us together.
