Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Sally Port View, located in Three Mile Bay, followed by the reception at the same venue. So no need to find transportation between events!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 3:00pm so we ask that all guests arrive before 2:45pm unless otherwise asked to be present at the venue at an earlier time by the bride or groom!

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We’re kindly asking our guest to stick with a blue color scheme if possible, but no formal dress code is in place. So wear whatever you feel the best in and what makes you comfortable.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While we cannot predict the weather, we can hopefully expect late September to bring temperatures around 65-70°F with a little bit of a breeze by the water. The ceremony will be located outdoors followed by an indoor reception in the main hall. Please keep this in consideration while planning your attire.

Can I take photos?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture the moment with us, we kindly ask that we keep our ceremony unplugged to allow for everyone to be fully present and enjoy in celebrating this moment with us. Our professional photographer will be there to capture photos and we look forward to sharing with everyone after. Ceremony aside, we would love for you to capture other moments with us and our guests for your own memories and to share with us if you would like! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We will be serving a buffet-style meal at the reception with choices that we hope will accommodate all our guests. If you have any specific dietary restrictions, please reach out to us so we can make sure we accommodate them for you! We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy the selection we chose for our day.

If I'm traveling, where should I stay?

Answer

For our guests that are traveling further distances, please reach out to either the bride or groom since accommodations may be available within Sally Port View. Please bear in mind that this space is limited and only available for the night of the 29th. If you're travelling for longer than just the night of the wedding, we have listed a few hotels that we love under the "Travel" tab. However please keep in mind that the venue we have chosen is located outside of any major towns/cities and the closest hotels will be roughly 25 minutes away. So, any travel between the venue and hotel will be the guest's responsibility. We also recommend checking out Airbnb if you would like to try and locate something a little closer to the venue.
