When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 31st so we have an accurate head count for our reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow yourself time to park, to mingle, and find your seats.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you all to be comfortable, but are asking that you wear semi formal beach attire- nice shorts and flip flops welcome! We are calling our vibe coastal cowboy, with a boho beachy flair.

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Just off N Beachview Dr, you will find public parking at the beach access.

Where is the reception?

Answer

Our reception will follow our ceremony, starting around 6 PM, at The Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott. It is located at 178 S Beachview Dr, Jekyll Island, GA, 31527.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes we have an open bar, free to our guests, that will include beer, wine, and liquor. While we are paying for the bartender, tips to then are always appreciated for their service. We also ask guests to plan a ride home if drinking and not staying at the reception venue. In the travel page I’ve include a car service. Guests can use Uber or Lyft but those services tend to be slower on the island.

Can we use our phones during the ceremony for pictures?

Answer

We are going unplugged for the ceremony and ask that all guest turn off their phones. We would like everyone to be present. If you’d like pictures of the ceremony feel free to ask, and I will get you copies. We will have several photographers capturing our special day for you.
