One of our favorite spots in Cody, this museum is not to be missed! The museum houses an incredible collection of Western and Native American artwork and artifacts.
The Beartooth Highway is a stunning, scenic drive approximately 1.5 hours from Cody, or 15 minutes from Crandall Creek Ranch. If you have an extra day, we highly recommend driving the Beartooth Highway and stopping along the way to take in the beautiful views and spot some wildlife. On the Montana side of Beartooth Pass you will find the town of Redlodge, a great place for a fun lunch. We also love hiking in the beartooths. There are dozens of excellent day hikes (and overnight hikes) in the Beartooths.
There is so much to see in Yellowstone, you can certainly make a day (or week!) out of a visit to the first National Park ever established in the United States. Spots in Yellowstone we love: The Lamar Valley: Oft called the Serengeti of the United States, this wide open valley is home to vast herds of buffalo and can also be a spot to sight wolves or bears. Yellowstone Falls: two iconic waterfalls on the Yellowstone river Old Faithful Geyser Yellowstone Lake Norris Geyser Basin and Hot Pots
The K - Z Guest Ranch is located right next to the wedding venue and is a great spot for horseback riding, fly fishing, or booking an overnight pack trip.
Our favorite cowboy boot shop in Cody.
Skyline Guest Ranch is located in Cooke City, Montana and offers horseback riding, guided Fly Fishing, and, for those who have more time, overnight horse pack trips.
