Greg and Gabby were introduced after their friends Morgan and Jéron decided that they should get to know one another. After weeks of long-distance texts and phone calls, Greg finally took the trip up to NYC in January of 2015 to finally spend some quality time. They started off the evening with a trip to Harlem where Gabby showed Greg some of the history of the city, its vibrant culture, and some staples of the renaissance. Then after a brief stop in the flashing lights of Times Square, the two lovebirds headed over to Madison Square Garden to see their favorite team, The New York Knicks play basketball. Although the Knicks lost (which would become a frequent occurrence in their relationship), Greg knew that he had truly found someone special. After a nightcap at a local bar, Greg and Gabby went their separate ways but this was just the first of many trips between DC and NYC for the couple that has cemented a bond leading to Greg proposing on July 1st, 2020.
