Question

What is an elopement party?

Answer

Great question. We will be having an intimate exchange of vows with just a few members of the family prior to the party. However, we still wanted an opportunity to celebrate with friends and family the joining of our families without many of the traditional wedding activities. Don’t worry; there will still be food, dancing and lots of fun.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our party is dressy casual.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Tallahassee in March is beautiful, with temperatures in the 70 to 40s. The venue has both an inside and outside area. A bonfire and heaters will be out, but a jacket is recommended.

Question

Where is the party taking place?

Answer

Only one location to worry about- The Space at Feather Oaks. There is no ceremony, just a party. The address is 6500 Miccosukee Rd. Tallahassee, Florida.

Question

Will the party be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue has outside and inside areas. We will have options no matter what the weather throws at us. If the weather is chilly, a bonfire and heaters will be out.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the elopement party, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

Parking is available at the venue and is free.

Question

Can I bring a date or kids?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our party is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please let us know if you can make it by February 1st.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Buffet-style meals will be served. We will be serving a variety of local Florida beers and wines.

Question

Safety

Answer

This will be no surprise to those that know Tina and her profession as a risk manager. The venue has some important rules that we would like to pass along. Please, no smoking. The venue has horses on-site. Please do not touch or mess with the horses; note that the paddock fencing is electrified.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
