Nina Salvador Barroll
Matron of Honor
Nina Salvador Barroll was born in the Philippines and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She met Akemi in Hayward youth soccer and started a friendship that continues to this day. Nina earned her bachelor’s degrees in environmental studies and geography from UC Santa Barbara, where she met and befriended Greg, and watched many episodes of Friday night sci fi. Nina currently works as an environmental educator in Alameda County with a focus on recycling. She enjoys hiking, biking, and both board and video games. Nina is married to Mark Barroll and they live in Hayward with two cats.
Ann Lewis
Best Woman
Greg's best friend since junior high, where they bonded discussing Magic: The Gathering on the sidelines of the flag football team. Attended UCSB together, where they were housemates for two years and still friends on the other side of that experience. Ann's work in financial planning has led to residing at times in San Diego, Chicago, the San Francisco Bay Area, and currently New York.

Cheryl met Akemi in college, in the far away land formerly known as Fort Ord. They bonded over many topics, including theatre, movies, books, costumes, and what the actual best superpower is. She is very excited to be part of Akemi and Greg's special day.
Mark Barroll
Groomsman
Mark is a bay area native who met Greg and Akemi through his partner Nina, and has enjoyed getting up to all kinds of shenanigans around the bay with them over the last near-decade. Mark's hobbies include strategy board games and fire dancing.
Kathy Brockdorf
Bridesmaid
Kathy has an unfortunate habit of collecting both hobbies and the supplies that go with them. They stayed in school long enough for gender not to be a factor in honorifics, and are delighted that their car now greets them as "Doctor" when they turn it on. Akemi and Kathy met through aikido and discovered a mutual love of games and dogs, and Kathy subsequently somehow convinced to their spouse David to move out to California a few years after doing so.
David Moller-Gunderson

David is a crafter, cook, and gamer at large who has strong opinions on chowder. He has known Akemi and Greg for going on seven years now, and resides in San Jose with his spouse, Kathy, and their dog Ada. He has somehow managed to convince several large companies that he can be trusted with repairing large, complex machines in an industrial setting.
Eli Krispi
Officiant
An eleven-year member of this collective of magnificent nerds, Eli has somehow made a career out of playing SimCity but for real. His hobbies include finding new things to eat, global exploration, and sitting by the window with a cup of tea. Eli lives in San Francisco with several houseplants, an assortment of whiskies, and 300 books.
