Maid of Honor
Kristen and I first became friends senior year of high school when we became co-captains of the Song Team. From that moment on, we were essentially attached at the hip. I'm pretty sure Kristen and I spent more time together senior year than we spent with our own families. She is one of the most loyal people I know and I am blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor. Best Man
My brother from another mother, a style icon and truly one of the best friends a guy could ask for. Before starting at Sonoma State, we had a Facebook group for the incoming class of 2012. In that group there was this guy who was so outgoing, getting to know everyone, posting different videos to get us all hyped for college. It was at that point that I knew we would be friends. Seven years later and not only has he become a friend, but a brother.
Matron of Honor
Zoe and I first met in 7th grade. She was loud, full of energy, and had my back from Day 1. We would go to Disneyland on Fridays and sleepovers were a regular occurrence. Zoe almost instantly felt comfortable enough to walk into my house and go straight to the fridge to find something to eat. We quickly went from being friends to being more like sisters and I wouldn't change it for the world. Photo circa March 2014.
Best Friend
My sister from another mister, creative icon, and one of the most generous friends I could ever ask for. I met Sara back in 2010 at a party and have been best friends ever since. Someone who has had my back since day one no questions asked. Has been the sister that I never had, the one to tell me I'm wrong when I needed it the most and a hypeman to keep me going.
Bridesmaid
Who would have known that I would have a best friend with the same name as me (even though I have never called her anything other than TJ)?. Our friendship started some time in middle school when she moved to the same neighborhood as me. We ended up going to the same high school which of course resulted in carpooling to school and riding the bus home together. From sleepovers at her house to late night shenanigans throughout college, the memories created will forever be with me. I can't wait to create more memories as she stands by my side on the big day! Photo circa December 2018.
Groomsman
Started off as a roommate but became a brother. Four years living together, seven years of friendship, and while yes we got on each others nerves, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Someone who would give you the shirt off of his back and then some. Someone who has gotten up at 4am to drop me off at the airport just to find out it was the wrong one and then drive me to the other airport in time for me to make my flight. It has been an honor and privilege to call Paul one of my best friends.
Bridesmaid
They say the people you meet in college are your future bridesmaids and this could not be any more true when it comes to Pheeb! We were partners in crime throughout college, roommates for two years, and she was my all-time favorite formal date. One of the most encouraging people I know, she's the best at making up nicknames, and my wedding day wouldn't be complete without her by my side! Photo circa May 2018.
Groomsman
I met my Gemini Brotha (our birthdays are 1 week apart) in the 9th grade and we've never looked back. With having a couple of classes together I learned very early that he was one of the smartest, most humble, and no-nonsense kids in the room (I tried to copy his homework once and he was not going for it). He has been an inspiration to me for his generosity, love, and respect as a friend going on 10+ years. Without Henry I don't know where I would be in a lot of facets in my life and I am blessed to have him standing next to me on such a special day.
Bridesmaid
I know Linzy and I were destined to be close because our moms were best friends and pregnant with us at the same time. Linzy is the most fun-loving person I know. Her vibe is contagious and she is always down for anything that involves having a good time. I cannot thank her enough for the pure joy and laughter she has brought to my life. I am blessed to call her my bridesmaid and have her stand with me on my special day. Photo circa July 2018.
Groomsman
An unlikely friendship that has made it over 13 years. From Ms. Farley's 7th grade English class almost getting us both suspended to dropping by just to check in and everything in between. A true friend that has stuck by side through it all. While we may not see each other as much as we used to, when we do catch up it's like nothing has changed. I couldn't imagine what life would've been like without this guy.
Bridesmaid
Nikale and I first met freshman year of high school in dance class where we would spend the period making up dances to songs like "Jai Ho" by the Pussycat Dolls. Our friendship continued to grow when we were on the Song Team together and it was then that I knew we would be friends for a lifetime. From high school sleepovers in her living room to girls' nights at her house, many of favorite memories involve Nikale. I am blessed to have a kind-hearted friend like her by my side on my special day! Photo circa March 2012.
Groomsman
We all have that friend who would be down for anything, someone who is going to be there no matter what and for me, that's my boy Jakari. I know if we gotta ride, he's down to ride. Besides being one of the funniest friends, he is also one that you can call at 3 am just to talk about life. I'm thankful and blessed to have my boy Jakari.
Bridesmaid
My cousin aka my built-in best friend, travel partner, and matching outfit buddy. Throughout our childhood, we spent a lot of time together. We would go on vacations together and have weekend sleepovers at her house. Christmas mornings weren't complete without Jordan there for us to open our gifts together, which usually included matching outfits from my mom. I can't wait to celebrate the big day with her by my side! Photo circa 2005.
Groomsman
Abe started out as one of Isaiah's homies that would come through, but quickly became family as though we had known each other for years. I always like to say Abe is a rare breed because the love, respect, and loyalty that he shows and the lengths to which he would go to help those he cares for is astounding. A true ride or die and I'm thankful to have him by my side!
Bridesmaid
Ebony is my favorite, and my only, sister. We are twelve years a part in age, so when I was six, she was preparing to leave the nest. As we've gotten older, our relationship has truly blossomed into something beautiful. We always have a good time when we are together - the fun and laughs never end. I can't wait for us to create more memories as she stands by my side on my big day! Photo circa April 2019.

What can I say about the person that has seen me through it all and was my very first friend. Anwar aka AJ is not just a Godbrother but a real brother to me. From looking at our future yachts in the Marina, getting each other into trouble at church to someone getting smacked in 2k (don't let him lie to you lol) AJ has been with me through it all. I thank God for our friendship over this past 26 years and cant wait to see what the next 26 have in store.
