This is our FAVORITE place to eat in Charleston and you will not be disappointed! For the purpose of allergies and food preferences, please be aware that this is primarily seafood and shellfish. Our Recommendations: Oysters (Chef's Pick) and the Shrimp Taco's!
Little Palm
We might be bias, but this is another favorite spot. This two in one option is conveniently located right in the Ryder Hotel. You catch some sun in the lounge and hang by the pool, or head to The Backyard for a more traditional sit down, but vibey, atmosphere. No matter which you choose, you'll be sipping on some of the best craft cocktails (alcoholic and non) and bites in the area! Tip: Grab a reservation for their Sunday Brunch! Fun Fact: The Backyard is where our ceremony and reception will be! Bravo Fans: You may recognize this space from Southern Hospitality!
Frannie & The Fox
For our Italian food lovers and just a short walk from the Ryder Hotel. Tip: If you're going for dinner, ask to be seated in the Courtyard for a cozy experience.

A hop, skip, and a jump from the Ryder Hotel. This is a unique restaurant with a limited menu, but a great option if you like to try something new!
The Coffee Counter at The Ryder
Ok so we're a little bias as to everything Ryder. If you're just looking for coffee or a small treat, this is a great stop! We Recommend: Caramel Latte with Oat Milk

A great spot for breakfast, coffee, and other treats!
Carmella's Cafe and Dessert Bar
If you like sweets, then you'll probably love it here!
The Longboard
If you want to venture out of downtown and across the bridge to Sullivan's Island, this is a great option for brunch, lunch, or dinner! Shout out to our family and Charleston locals, Kelsey and Trenton, for introducing us to this place!
Élevé Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge
Located right next to the Ryder, a rooftop restaurant that has an outdoor lounge with fire pits, and some great views of the city.
Pounce Cat Cafe + Wine Bar
If you are a cat lover, you have to squeeze Pounce into your visit. Sip on wine or other beverages while you get to snuggle with cats that are available for adoption. We dare you to walk away without wanting to adopt one of these sweet little kitties!
Old South Carriage Company
A fun way to check out downtown Charleston! And since you'll be visiting in October, we recommend checking out the haunted carriage tour at night for a little something spooky.
King Street Shopping
Charleston has some great shopping and King Street is the mecca. There are also tons of great restaurants, coffee/smoothie shops, and bars along the way! Note: We are not liable for any financial damage you do while shopping on King Street :)
Shem Creek
Shem Creek waterfront in Mount Pleasant would be a great place to visit during the day or night. There are several restaurants along thd boardwalk and water activities to check out. Fun fact: the tv show Outer Banks has filmed here often!
Charleston City Market
A must while you are visiting! You can find all kinds of unique souvenirs and gifts here. And once you reach the end, keep walking down the street to reach the waterfront! PS - Meg Z, you are not allowed to buy any knick knacks
Sewing Down South
Exclusively for our Bravo/Southern Charm/Craig Conover fans. Check it out while shopping King Street.
Marion Square
Marion Square is where we got engaged! If you're walking King Street, you're bound to pass by. It's a beautiful open park to walk or relax in.
Waterfront Park
Take a walk on the waterfront for some beautiful views. If you're not too tired, take the path all the way down to the Battery to see some beautiful homes and history!

For a good photo op, head to Rainbow Row!
The Battery
If you really want to check out the beautiful real estate that exists in Charleston, take a walk around the Battery neighborhood complete with views of the water.
