Samantha Pelton and Gregory Tomczak

FAQ

Below is a list of what we thought might be some frequently asked questions about our special weekend. Did we miss anything? Have a question you don't see listed here? Please reach out to either Greg or Sam!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you can make it to our wedding AND Main Event by September 15th at the very latest. We need to finalize the venue guest count, seating chart and guest count for Main Event by this date.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is limited to the families of the bride and groom and our closest friends. Due to wanting to keep our celebration small and intimate, we are unable to accomodate anyone who is not listed on your wedding invitation. The same applies to Main Event as we are purchasing a fixed amount of activity wristbands. If you have small children, they are invited to join us at Main Event (and Sunday Funday) and we will reach out to you individually to confirm if they will be attending.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of the children in our life, our wedding will be an adult-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. HOWEVER! Kids are welcome to join us at Main Event on Friday night, as well as at Beer Barn on Sunday Funday!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our RSVP form has fields you can fill out to let us know of any allergies or dietary preferences (vegan/vegetarian, etc) you have. We will communicate this to the wedding venue so that you are taken care of! Please reach out to Greg or Sam if for some reason you forgot to include your allergies/dietary preferences on the RSVP form, or have any additional questions or requests!

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Make sure you dress to impress in your most colorful cocktail attire for our wedding night. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. November in Arizona is when it generally starts to cool down from the hot summer months - but not always. We are anticipating comfortable weather on November 8th - but you never know if it might be hotter or colder than normal. Please check the weather forecast leading up to our wedding to ensure you are dressed comfortably! For dancing - you may want to bring a comfy/additional pair of shoes!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue at 5 pm. We will have welcome drinks available, and want to give everyone enough time to find their seat. The ceremony will start at 5:30 pm on the dot.

Question

Does the Wedding Venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! Lindsay Grove has plenty of on-site parking, which is also available for you to leave your car overnight if you so please (you'll need to pick up your vehicle by 11 am the following day). We do encourage all of our guests to carpool if possible, and most importantly - PLEASE have a designated driver or plan to use a rideshare app (Uber/Lyft) if you will be drinking.

Question

Can I take photos and upload them to Social Media?

Answer

We politely ask that all guests refrain from taking any photos or videos during our wedding ceremony. We will have some skilled photographers capturing all of our special moments! After the ceremony, we will have signage around the venue with QR codes where you can upload any photos you take throughout the night to a platform which can be viewed by the bride and groom. Aside from this, posting on social media is totally fine and encouraged!

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is all we can ask for on our special day - physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! Should you feel so inclined as to bring a physical gift, we will have a table set up at the wedding venue.

Question

Is there an open bar at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar with various beer, wine and spirits until 11 pm - at which point the open bar will offer beer and wine only. There will be non-alcoholic options available throughout the entire night. Please bring some cash to tip the hard working bartenders!

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! Check out the 'Things to Do' page! Here we have compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, restaurants and entertainment options to visit before or after the wedding.
