April is one of the best times of the year to enjoy the Tulum area. It's likely in the 80s during the day without much rain or wind. The weather is most enjoyable closer to the ocean. As you move inland to the jungle it becomes quite hot.
You might consider tacking on a few days to your stay to be able to enjoy this magical location of the Yucatan. We have reserved Cielo Maya for Wednesday- Sunday but will venture out before/ and or afterwards to enjoy swimming in ocean and cenotes, eating fresh healthy foods, and to engage with the many healing and wellness offerings of the area.
Yes! We would love to see your family there.
Swimming in a cenote can be a magical experience. These sinkholes provide access to a collection of underground rivers of the region. The Maya revered them as sacred sites and used them not only as their water source but also for pilgrimages and rituals. You could consider it nature's temple of the Yucatan.
